Education Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

 

Required Qualifications 

  • 0-6 months experience providing administrative support in a fast-paced, complex, and regulatory environment
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Demonstrated experience in organization, prioritization, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing superior customer service
  • Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail, planning, and follow-up skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and strengthen working relationships with a variety of populations, including internal and external constituents, through positive interaction and collaboration
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and other computer software applications

 


Desired Qualifications 

  • 6 to 12 months experience providing administrative support in a fast-paced, complex, and regulatory environment
  • Positive interpersonal skills 
  • Knowledge of University of Iowa and Immigration policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Experience in program/service development or quality improvement projects.
  • Demonstrated independent thinking skills to develop alternative solutions and solve problems
  • Experience with accounting processes and productivity data.
