Immigration Coordinator
Education Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications
- 0-6 months experience providing administrative support in a fast-paced, complex, and regulatory environment
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Demonstrated experience in organization, prioritization, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
- Demonstrated experience in providing superior customer service
- Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail, planning, and follow-up skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and strengthen working relationships with a variety of populations, including internal and external constituents, through positive interaction and collaboration
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and other computer software applications
Desired Qualifications
- 6 to 12 months experience providing administrative support in a fast-paced, complex, and regulatory environment
- Positive interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of University of Iowa and Immigration policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Experience in program/service development or quality improvement projects.
- Demonstrated independent thinking skills to develop alternative solutions and solve problems
- Experience with accounting processes and productivity data.
