Required Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 12 months’ experience in biomedical research.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency maintaining excellent lab notes and records. 
  • Ability to perform animal based experiments of infection and immune responses.
  • Demonstrated experience balancing a supervised position with opportunities for autonomy.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience with basic biostatistics.
  • Experience in basic molecular biology techniques such as cloning, western blotting, or PCR.
  • Experience in basic microbiological sterile techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Highly Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in management, breeding and imaging of zebrafish.
  • Experience with genetic manipulations of fungi and/or bacteria.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, organize priorities and work independently to meet deadlines.
