Instructional Serv Specialist - MLS Education Coordinator
Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, biological, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology program from an accredited institution.
Certification as a Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) from American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) from Health Education and Welfare (HEW).
Experience Requirements
Minimum of 1 year recent clinical laboratory experience
Experience in providing technical training (one-on-one, small group, formal presentations)
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with individuals and groups, as well as excellent organizational skills
Desirable Qualifications
Experience working with ICON or similar course management system is highly desirable
Experience developing curriculum and educational resources is desirable
Database management experience is desirable
Experience coordinating training initiatives is desirable
Experience with social media is desirable
