Instructional Services Specialist - Center for Language and Culture Learning
Education Required:
- BA in a foreign language, foreign language/ESL education, applied linguistics, educational technology, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience (typically 1-3 years) teaching a language (Foreign or Second Language).
- Working knowledge and/or experience (typically 1-3 years) with Course management systems (such as Canvas and Blackboard).
- Demonstrates extensive proficiency in the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally in a multicultural environment.
- Demonstrates working level proficiency with desktop tools, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience (typically 1-3 years) using or providing technological or pedagogical support for instructional technologies–applications, hardware, software.
- Working knowledge of and the ability to identify best practices for integrating multimedia technology into language learning/teaching, assessment, and/or research.
- Experience (typically 1-3 years) in supervisory roles, student-worker or administrative.
- Master’s Degree or PhD in a foreign language, foreign language/ESL education, applied linguistics, educational technology, or related field.
