Instructional Services Specialist/KRUI Operations Manager
Education Required
- A bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading and managing teams.
- Knowledge/experience of audio and video production and multimedia creation workflows.
- Experience successfully managing complex projects and initiatives with competing deadlines.
- Knowledge of and ability to apply policies and practices for planning and administering a budget and managing expenses.
- Demonstrated working knowledge and proficiency in use of Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Demonstrated experience maintaining, updating, and replacing technology within a radio station or similar environment.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with and mentoring students and/or interns in a higher education setting.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as part of the 20-hour weekly schedule.
- Experience working with university ITS and external groups and/or vendors to resolve hardware and software-based problems.
- Experience with fundraising and/or resource development.
- Working knowledge of FCC regulations and radio frequency operations or reporting to government bodies.
