Instructional Services Specialist (TOAST) - Patient Financial Services
Education Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a trainer or educational role.
Experience Requirements
- Experience providing education/training to end users in large and small group settings.
- Knowledge with computer software applications, (i.e. Microsoft Office programs) and the ability to learn and apply new software systems knowledge quickly.
- Strong analytical skills to identify opportunities for operational improvement and implementing effective changes.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in ambiguous and complex situations with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated customer -focused and team-focused actions to meet or exceed needs and expectations; take responsibility for customer complaints when an issue may lie elsewhere.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to share appropriate information and feedback in a professional, respectful and sensitive manner with all levels of personnel.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience developing curriculum and educational resources.
- 1-3 years Revenue Cycle experience.
- Knowledge of University policies, procedures and regulations.
- Experience and knowledge of Patient Financial Services’ functions, systems, processes & policies.
- Experience (1 year or more) creating, updating and documenting job procedures and processes.
- Experience (1 year or more) evaluating instructional effectiveness.
- Proficiency in Web-based applications such as: Intranet Web Page Design, Dreamweaver and/or HTML programming.
