Instructional Technology Consultant
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline or an equivalent combination of education and related experience in instructional support may also serve to meet these minimum requirements.
Required Qualifications:
• Experience, (typically 1-3 years) providing instructional and technical support in an information technology environment.
• Experience working on cross-functional teams;
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; the ability to explain computing concepts to non-technical staff;
• A proven track-record of initiating, managing, and completing technology projects;.
• Strong troubleshooting experience to resolve customer problems.
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience supporting technology in a higher educational setting;
• Experience providing customer support for instructional or educational technology;
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies;
• Experience with enterprise-level IT service management (service ownership)
• Experience with course management systems (Desire2Learn, Canvas, Moodle, etc.)
• Experience with online video platforms such as ShareStream, Kaltura, etc.;
• Experience with lecture capture solutions such as Panopto, echo360, MediaSite, etc.;
• Experience with web conferencing solutions such as Zoom, Skype for Business, BlackBoard Collaborate, etc.;
