Required:
-
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, web design, or relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 years of experience deploying communications or managing a web-based technology like an intranet or other website; comfortable with off-the-shelf web-based technology.
- 3 years of experience developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and using communication, leadership, and influencing skills in a complex environment.
- Experience with project management or change management.
- Basic understanding of common web technology (HTML, CSS, Javascript).
- Superb strategic planning, writing, editing, and communication skills as demonstrated through web content, published stories, and/or communication plans.
- Ability to guide teams in communication exercises, prioritizing responsibilities, and making a solid case for decisions or direction.
Desired:
- Experience with managing a team or direct reports.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Suites.
- Knowledge and experience with web analytics software (Google Analytics).
- Experience with Agile development.
- AP style competency.
- Certification in project management and/or change management.
- Experience in health care, academics, or a large, complex organization.
