IR Radiology Manager
Educational Requirements:
- Master’s degree and/or equivalent education and experience is required.
Experience Requirements:
- 3-5 years of progressive clinical leadership.
- Demonstrated skill in leadership/management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Proficiency in computer software applications is required.
- Fiscal management experience: preparing and planning budget
- 3 – 5 years recent experience in a Level 1 trauma center in Interventional radiology is required.
- Professional job-related experience fostering or promoting a welcoming and respectful work/academic environment where people of all backgrounds and perspectives feel welcomed and appreciated; or demonstrated the ability to do so.
Certification Requirements:
- Certification or eligibility for certification in diagnostic procedures by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologies is required.
- Permit to practice in the State of Iowa for all radiographers operating ionizing radiation emitting equipment is required.
Desired Qualifications:
- Supervisory experience is desirable.
- Certification in Interventional Radiology is desirable.
- Demonstrated positive Services Excellence Skills is desirable.
- Knowledge of University policies, procedures and regulations is desirable.
