IR Senior Imaging Technologist/ Imaging Technologist - Radiology ($12,500 Sign-on Incentive) - For Hires New to UI
Experience Requirements
- Senior Imaging Technologist: A Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or other Allied Health Sciences discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Senior Imaging Technologist: Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Imaging Technologist: Requires Successful completion of two-year or other approved program by Joint Review Committee in Radiologic Technology Education is required.
Certification Requirements (Senior Imaging Technologist and Imaging Technologist)
- Current certification or eligibility for certification in diagnostic procedures by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
- Current Permit to Practice issued by the Iowa Department of Public Health for all radiographers operating ionizing radiation emitting equipment is required.
Desirable Qualifications (Senior Imaging Technologist and Imaging Technologist)
- Certification in Vascular Interventional Technology or experience in Interventional Radiology.
- Recent work or clinical education experience in IR
- Recent work or clinical education experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center

The Department of Radiology will be filling this position at one of two levels. The Imaging Technologist classification salary is 4, and the Senior Imaging Technologist classification salary is 5. You must indicate in your cover letter the level of classification (Imaging Technologist and/or Senior Imaging Technologist) you wish to be considered for or indicate both.
