REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or MIS, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience supporting workstations running Windows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer software applications including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to move and transport computer equipment up to 50 pounds.

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Six months or more experience providing technical support for desktop/laptop computers, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Experience working with or an understanding of informatics.
  • Ability to work and gain relevant additional knowledge and skills in a self-directed manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of macOS and Linux/Unix Operating Systems.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell and bash.
  • Experience providing technical training.
