Leadership Coaching Specialist
University of Iowa Health Care is seeking a Leadership Coaching Specialist (Sr. HR Specialist). This position will build and sustain coaching as an internal service for UI Health Care leaders and staff. Provide one-on-one coaching and shape the broader coaching strategy for the organization.
Key Duties:
Provide individual and group coaching to leaders and staff as a certified workplace coach.
Collaborate with University OE coaching experts to assess and engage external coaches as needed.
Partner with HR leaders and other stakeholders to implement coaching as a core HR service.
Design tools, resources, and programs to support leadership coaching and development.
Contribute to shaping the long-term vision and strategy for workplace coaching at UI Health Care.
Support other learning and development initiatives, especially those involving coaching-related content or skills.
Facilitate training sessions on coaching skills for leaders and managers.
Participate in engagement and organizational change efforts during shared department projects.
Participate in a “flow to work” model to support priority work across the team’s portfolio.
Assist with engagement survey during peak periods.
Serve as facilitators for training programs (e.g., Leading UI Health Care and Engagement Academy).
Monitor and reply to inquiries in team’s shared inboxes.
Assist with talent development and engagement for HR Rep Community.
Pay Level: 4A

Required Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in human resources management, organizational development, or business administration or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum three years of experience providing coaching to organizational leaders or staff in a corporate or healthcare environment.
Proven experience designing and implementing coaching programs, tools, and resources.
Experience collaborating with internal and external coaching partners and HR stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate leadership development and coaching skills training.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to design, develop, and deliver effective training and coaching programs.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in a large healthcare or academic medical center setting.
Professional in Human Resources Certification.
Knowledge of University of Iowa policies and procedures.
Certification from a recognized professional coaching body, e.g., International Coaching Federation (ICF) or equivalent)
