Network Engineer – Network Services
Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience, typically 1 -3 years, with data services.
- Experience, typically 1-3 years, in working with network infrastructure.
- Experience, typically 1-3 years, with network services problem solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to participate in a 24x7x365 on call rotation.
- A valid driver’s license and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety requirements.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with Cisco Wi-Fi infrastructure and related services.
- Experience with Cisco switches, routers, and management tools.
- Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center, ISE, IPAM, Thousand Eyes.
- Experience with basic Linux and network appliance administration.
- Experience with scripting, Python, network automation, and API calls.
