Neurology Sleep Lab - Healthcare Services Manager
- A Master’s degree in a business, healthcare, or other related field or equivalent years of work experience.
- 3 years of administrative or functional supervision in a healthcare setting.
- Must possess one or more of the following credentials: RPSGT (Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists) or RRT-SDS (National Board of Respiratory Care)
- Must be able to collaborate/communicate with professional and technical staff, healthcare providers, and students to provide exceptional service to patients.
- Must be able to help in budget development to maintain and update equipment as needed; monitoring current equipment, staff, and supplies being used.
- Must be able to monitor current trends in medicine and project areas of growth.
- Must have good organizational skills.
- Experience developing high performing flexible workforce including monitoring performance and identifying improvement opportunities
- Demonstrates job related experience with and/or commitment to diversity in the work/academic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be proficient in computer software applications.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Sleep Disorders Center
- Knowledge of computer processing and database query languages.
- Previous experience with Epic electronic medical record software.
- Previous experience working in a large academic medical center or large complex health care organization.
- Credentialed by ABRET
