Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience supervising clinical and/or non-clinical staff.
  • 3 years’ administrative experience, preferably in a clinical setting, working collaboratively in a team environment with leadership responsibilities.
  • 1 year experience in a medical/clinic setting.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills
  • Experience as a change agent, implementing new processes and/or programs, preferably in a clinical setting.
 Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with leading a clinical support team.
  • Experience with providing budget recommendations and/or managing expenses.
  • Experience with EPIC/EHR.
  • Knowledge of clinical scheduling and coordination of patient activities.
  • Experience with Cadence or other clinical scheduling software.
  • Proficiency in computer software applications (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of principles of Human Resource practices including recruitment, training, performance reviews, and labor relations.
  • Experience with customer services assessments.
  • Knowledge of University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics policies and procedures.
