Required Qualifications:
  • A Baccalaureate degree in Nursing is required.

  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

  • Demonstrated excellence in critical thinking, independent decision-making, time management, prioritization, and in written and verbal communication skills is required.

  • Demonstrated experience coordinating care along the healthcare continuum is required.

  • 1-3 years of recent clinical health care experience is required.

 
Certifications:
  • Current license to practice nursing in Iowa is required by date of hire
Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of community resources to facilitate healthcare needs beyond the acute care setting is highly desired
  • Experience using motivational interviewing skills to promote behavioral change is highly desired.
  • Professional certification in case management, disease management or specialty area is highly desired.
