Education Requirements:

  • Master’s degree required; MSN or DNP preferred.

  • Current Iowa RN license and ARNP licensure required.

  • National certification in an adult‑focused specialty required.

  • Must be licensed and certified to care for adult patient populations.

 

Experience Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of patient care experience (may include clinical rotations or clinical practice).

  • Demonstrated experience or knowledge in orthopedic patient care.

  • Demonstrated experience working effectively in a welcoming and respectful workplace environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Consistent timeliness and accuracy in documentation.

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working in medical-surgical inpatient, surgical inpatient, orthopedic outpatient, or orthopedic surgical setting is highly desired. 

     

 

The department intends to hire for one position from either Physician Assistant, requisition 26004031, or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, requisition 26004032, based on the qualifications of the successful candidate.
