Outpatient Senior Physical Therapist - Rehab Therapies
Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor’s degree in another field and a Physical Therapy Certificate is required.
- Reasonable (2+ years) experience as a Physical Therapist with a high degree of understanding and skill in one or more areas of assigned responsibility.
- Demonstrated clinical educational abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a work or other professional setting.
- Demonstrated ability to function as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Licensure in accordance with the Iowa Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy is required
Desirable Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Physical Therapy with advanced understanding and skill in providing physical therapy primarily to adults in an outpatient setting.
- Reasonable (1-3 years) experience in evaluation and treatment of patients with musculoskeletal disorders.
- Ability to practice in an autonomous manner
- Demonstrated effectiveness in provision of patient care
- Demonstrated efficiency in provision of patient care
- Demonstrated effort to enhance one’s own knowledge, skills and abilities
- Demonstrated program/service development or quality improvement projects
