Pediatric Physician Assistant
Required Qualifications
· Must comply with registration and licensure requirements as specified by the Iowa Board of Physician Assistant Examiners which include graduation from an accredited PA educational program and/or certification by the NCCPA..
· Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required.
· Demonstrated experience in pediatrics or knowledge of pediatric patient care is required.
· Demonstrated experience working effectively in a diverse environment or promoting a diverse environment is required.
· Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as in a group setting.
Highly Desirable Qualifications
· Previous experience working with children with developmental disabilities, behavioral concerns or serious emotional disorders
Desirable Qualifications
· Previous healthcare experience in pediatrics or mental health
· Experience prescribing medications used in behavioral health care
· Experience working in an outpatient setting and as a member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
