Program Manager
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in education, communications, business, humanities or related field, or equivalent education and experience
- Three years of post-graduate professional experience
- Management experience in complex organizational setting
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships in complex organizations with grace, tact, and diplomacy
- Demonstrated understanding of the of the mission of a research university and the mission and functions of scholarly support units.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, access, and inclusion in an academic environment, in a workplace setting, and/or in the community
- Tolerance for ambiguity in workplace operations
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with digital scholarship theory and practices
- Familiarity with higher education systems and processes
- Familiarity with University of Iowa finance and human resource systems
- Experience with teaching or other instructional experience
- Experience with grant-writing or budgeting
- Experience supervising others

The starting salary range for the Program Manager position will be $62,000 - $72,000 based on experience.
