Sustainability Program Manager
Education
Required:
- A Master’s degree in sustainability or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
Required
Qualifications:
- 3 years of related experience in sustainability-related education, public outreach, and volunteer coordination
- 3 years of related experience in a supervisory role, having managed employees and/or research projects and internships
- Working knowledge of software applications, such as Microsoft Office
- Extensive team building skills, the ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Working experience in leading planning efforts with various stakeholders and building consensus in a larger, institutional setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to clearly communicate and work with diverse individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner
Desired Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders through engagement and outreach
- Experience working with teams to develop interdisciplinary projects, grants and proposals
- Experience working with faculty and students in an academic environment and/or with sustainability related focus
