Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Successful completion of a radiologic technology program approved by the Joint Review Committee in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification and registration in radiography
  • Unrestricted State of Iowa Permit to Practice license
  • Two years minimum clinical experience in radiologic technology
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

 

Desirable Qualifications

  • Clinical instructing experience
  • ARRT certification and registration in an added modality (CT, MRI, CI, VI, QM/PACS, M)
  • Two years minimum technical experience in additional ARRT certification
  • Experience with educational coursework, including educational theory, course development, instructional design, and assessment methods
  • Classroom teaching experience
  • Academic advising experience
