Radiation Sciences Educator
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Successful completion of a radiologic technology program approved by the Joint Review Committee in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification and registration in radiography
- Unrestricted State of Iowa Permit to Practice license
- Two years minimum clinical experience in radiologic technology
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Desirable Qualifications
- Clinical instructing experience
- ARRT certification and registration in an added modality (CT, MRI, CI, VI, QM/PACS, M)
- Two years minimum technical experience in additional ARRT certification
- Experience with educational coursework, including educational theory, course development, instructional design, and assessment methods
- Classroom teaching experience
- Academic advising experience
