Radiation Sciences Educator (50% FTE)– Radiologic Technology
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Baccalaureate degree or higher;or
- Successful completion of an ARRT-approved educational program in radiography that is accredited by the JRCERT.
Minimum of 2-years’, full-time, clinical experience in Radiography as an ARRT certified technologist. - Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Requires current Radiography (R) certification by the ARRT.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Certification in an ARRT post-primary discipline. Preference will be determined according to instructional needs of the program.
Clinical instructing experience. - Laboratory instructing experience.
- Soft skills including active listening, conflict resolution, problem-solving, adaptability, and teamwork.
- Classroom instructing experience.
- Distance and Online Education experience.
- Educational coursework to include educational theory, course development, instructional design, and assessment methods.
- Clinical advising experience.
- Master’s degree or coursework towards a master’s degree
