Research Assistant for Metabolic Diseases (Endocrinology)
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or other scientific disciplines in a related field or equivalent is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Knowledge of complex laboratory techniques, equipment, terminology, materials, and substances is required.
Skilled in the use of laboratory equipment, ability to create and analyze statistical calculations and prepare reports required.
Training and certification in animal care and use or the willingness to complete the certification is required.
Desirable Qualifications
Previous laboratory experience is highly desirable.
Knowledge of mouse physiology, molecular biology, biochemistry is desirable
Knowledge of basic computer skills and programs is desirable
Ability to pay attention to detail and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills is highly desirable
