Required Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent, combination of education and experience and the ability to apply and translate this knowledge to biological research
  • Experience with histotechnology applications
  • Excellent written and interpersonal verbal communication skills are required
  • Experience with Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Consistent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to effectively prioritize projects to consistently meet deadlines
  • Experience with handling animal and/or human tissues
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Experienced in immunohistochemistry techniques (optimization, validation, trouble shooting) and/or histochemical staining
  • HT or HTL certification
