Research Assistant - Histology Research Laboratory
Required Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent, combination of education and experience and the ability to apply and translate this knowledge to biological research
- Experience with histotechnology applications
- Excellent written and interpersonal verbal communication skills are required
- Experience with Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
Desirable Qualifications:
- Consistent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to effectively prioritize projects to consistently meet deadlines
- Experience with handling animal and/or human tissues
- Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Experienced in immunohistochemistry techniques (optimization, validation, trouble shooting) and/or histochemical staining
- HT or HTL certification
