Research Assistant - Neuroscience and Pharmacology
Required Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in a biomedical related field, animal science, veterinary technology or other related science program or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience in an animal caretaking or research laboratory environment
- Previous animal research experience in a laboratory with an emphasis on animal behavior
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently while being accountable and efficient with time management
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience with handling, restraining and injecting mice
- Experience with mouse behavioral experiments
- Experience with transcardial perfusions, brain extractions, sectioning and histology
- Experience with stereotaxic surgeries is a plus but not required
- Experience with EEG recordings in mice
