Research Assistant - Neuroscience and Pharmacology
Required Qualifications:
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in a biomedical related field, animal science, veterinary technology or other related science program or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience in an animal caretaking or research laboratory environment
- Previous experience with handling, restraining and injecting mice
- Experience with cell culture
- Experience with histology, brain section and transcardial perfusions and brain extractions
- Experience with Microsoft Office and statistical analysis software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while being accountable and efficient with time management
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with mouse behavioral experiments
- Experience with culturing viruses
- Experience with stereotaxic surgeries
- Experience with EEG recordings in mice
