Research Assistant - Ophthalmology (Fingert Lab)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively communicate with team members.
- Must work well under time constraints within a high demand laboratory environment
- Must be adept at performing multiple tasks throughout a given day.
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a collaborative group setting.
- Experience working in mice in a laboratory setting
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Cell culture experience / aseptic technique
- PCR / cloning experience
- Experience isolating RNA, DNA and protein.
- Immunocytochemistry / Immunohistochemistry / Western blot experience
- Familiarity with Macintosh computers, including the applications Microsoft Word and Excel, Filemaker Pro and Photoshop
