Required Qualifications: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience.  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  

  • Ability to learn new and varied skills quickly.  

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.  

  • Ability to maintain a safe, healthy, and functional working environment in the lab.  

  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.  

  • Knowledge of standard laboratory methods such as cell culture, biochemical assays, histrochemistry, microscopy, Western blotting, PCR, maintaining laboratory stocks and reagents, and mouse handling.  

  • Must be willing to work with laboratory animals.  

  • A background check is required. 

 

 

Desirable Qualifications: 

  • Experience training lab personnel and students.  

  • Experience in managing compliance, regulatory, and safety matters for a laboratory conducting both animal and human research.  

  • Experience in culturing of human and mammalian cell lines.  

  • Experience with mouse handling.
