Education Required

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required

Required Qualifications:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. 

1-3 years of experience with mouse handling is required. 

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with molecular or cellular biology techniques is highly desirable. 

Experience with cancer biology research is highly desirable. 

Experience with laboratory management and training others in laboratory techniques is highly desirable. 

Experience with immunohistochemistry, microscopy, and cell culture is highly desirable. 

Experience with genotype, monitoring tumor growth and harvesting tumors is highly desirable.  

Experience with tissue culture, RNA harvest, and/or histology is highly desirable.

 

This department intends to hire for one position from either Research Assistant, Requisition 23002221 or Research Associate, Requisition 23002217, based on the qualifications of the successful candidate. Please apply to the specific position for which you wish to be considered or for both.
