Research Associate - Molecular Physiology & Biophysics
Required Qualifications:
- Requires the knowledge that is generally associated with a Bachelor's degree in the Biological Sciences, supplemented by one or more years of progressively responsible experience in the conduct of natural or health science research or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with stereotactic surgeries in mice
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstration of success working in a diverse, multidisciplinary environment
Desirable Qualifications:
- Excellent fine motor skills, dexterity, and spatial skills
- Conceptual and technical knowledge of neuroscience
- Experience with maintenance and genotyping genetically modified mice
- Experience with IACUC record-keeping and protocol development
- Experience with scheduling and calendar management
- Experience with analysis and record keeping software (GraphPad Prism, MATLAB, Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Respectfulness, flexibility, trustworthiness, adaptability, foresight and anticipation
