Education Required: 

 

·       Master’s degree in public health, social work or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Required Qualifications:

·       Master’s degree in public health, social work or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

·       Experience in research and program evaluation with human subjects research certification or ability to obtain certification.

·       Experience using MS Office (e.g., Excel, Word), statistical software (e.g., Stata, SPSS, R, NVivo, Dedoose), and data collection software (e.g., REDCap, Qualtrics).

·       Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.

·       Demonstrated ability to enter, organize, manipulate, and analyze data sets including use of federal and other online data reporting systems.

·       Valid driver’s license and the ability to meet and maintain University Driving Policy standards

·       Educational preparation in statistical analysis (e.g., biostatistics, social sciences or health statistics training).

·       Educational preparation and experience in aging, Alzheimer’s, and dementia related studies.

 

Desired Qualifications:

·       Familiarity and knowledge of public health/social service delivery systems and public health issues.

·       Experience with health disparities and social determinants of health including familiarity with health issues related to race, ethnicity, gender, sex, rurality and rural and ethnic communities and ability to work with diverse populations.

·       Experience with writing grant applications and reports, articles and manuscripts for publication using APA style.

·       Qualitative research experience including conducting interviews and focus groups, social network analysis, and qualitative analysis software (e.g., UCINET, Dedoose, NVivo).
