Research Manager
Required:
The academic knowledge of a discipline plus the ability to translate, adapt and apply the knowledge that is generally associated with a master’s degree, supplemented by three or more years of progressively responsible experience in the conduct of social science research or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a keen attention to detail.
Ability to travel to regional and national meetings and conferences. Ability to travel overnight, valid US driving license and the ability to meet the University Driving Policy standards.
Demonstrated interest in American Indian and/or Alaska Native populations and their cultures.
Highly Desired:
Previous management experience.
Experience overseeing research initiatives.
Desired:
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with other professionals and the public.
Knowledge of prevention systems and strategies.
