Research Specialist - Neuroscience and Pharmacology
Required Qualifications:
- MS or equivalent degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar
- Three years relevant experience
- Fluency in MATLAB, R, python or java, with a willingness to learn other languages as needed
- Excellent communication skills & ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience working with NGS data (spaceranger pipeline)
- Python experience using NumPy and Matplotlib
- Familiarity with the use of high-performance computer clusters
- Network analysis combining large datasets (e.g. RNAseq, single-cell RNAseq, protein-protein interactions, and/or spatial transcriptomics)
- Coursework or experience with standard molecular biology, immunofluorescence, and other relevant neuroscience techniques
