Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
· A Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Foods and Nutrition, Institutional Management, Hotel & Restaurant Administration or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and supervisory experience.
· 6 months – 1 year experience in the preparation and distribution of foods.
· 6 months – 1 year experience in food service management, including training and supervising staff; and inventory control.
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) software applications.
· Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively transmit, receive and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through appropriate communication methods and behaviors at a working proficiency level.
· Demonstrates the ability to adjust and develop self to prepare for new or changing assignments, processes, people or priorities as organizational needs dictate at a working proficiency level.
· Demonstrates a working proficiency in the ability to work with variety of individuals and groups while appreciating the unique contribution of diverse individuals.
· Demonstrates a working proficiency in the ability to collaborate and interact with individuals and groups.
· Demonstrates a working proficiency in the ability to provide excellent customer and to meet or exceed customer service needs.
· Ability to obtain and maintain ServSafe certification.
Desirable Qualifications:
· 1-3 years of experience in personnel supervision.
· Working experience in a large-scale food service operation.
· Some experience working with a collective bargaining unit.
