Revenue Cycle Representative - Wendell Johnson Speech and Hearing Clinic, Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders
Education Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Typically, at least six months of relevant office or administrative work experience.
- Understanding of basic principles, techniques and terminology of claims processing and reimbursement.
- Experience with the Epic system.
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes, as well as appropriate modifier usage for billing and following up on AR claims.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills to review accounts.
- Effective communication skills.
- Proficiency in data entry/translation with proven attention to detail resulting in minimal errors.
