SCTCT Quality and Program Assistant Director - Cancer Center
Required Qualifications
1. A Master’s degree in Hospital or Health Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or another related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
2. Minimum 3+ years leadership and supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
3. Knowledge of health care revenue cycle process.
4. Experience with program accreditation survey process.
5. Experience in public speaking.
6. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
7. Must be proficient in computer software applications.
8. Demonstrated commitment to promoting a diverse environment
Desirable Qualifications
1. Experience in and knowledge of adult/pediatric cellular therapy for and blood, marrow, and stem cell transplantation and donations in an academic healthcare setting
2. Experience in quality improvement concepts.
3. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Blood & Marrow Transplant Certified Nurse (BMTCN)
4. Knowledge of FACT Accreditation
5. Knowledge of CIBMTR
6. Experience in developing and managing a budget.
7. Experience developing and maintaining positive physician relations.
8. Knowledge of hematology/oncology medical terminology.
9. Experience in tracking, maintaining, and improving patient satisfaction.
10. Knowledge of University policies, procedures, and regulations.
11. Participation in professional organizations focused on stem cell transplant and cellular therapy.
12. Knowledge of quality manager processes: Audits, Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA), process improvement, creating benchmarks, analyzing transplant/cellular therapy outcomes.
