Senior Application Developer, Communications Applications
Education Required
Bachelor’s in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and related application development/support experience.
- Experience in the development and/or support of applications used by non-technical customers to support and enhance business processes, typically 5-7 years for Senior Developer in leadership roles, and a comprehensive understanding of database technologies .
- Experience contributing to an integrated communication system implementation cycle though areas such as design, workflow analysis, build, training, implementation, testing and support.
- Demonstrated experience working with end-users to analyze and define system requirements, understand business needs and convert business requirements into functional/technical specifications for complex integrated systems.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work independently as well as cooperatively with technical and non-technical users with a strong focus on customer service.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with technical and non-technical staff.
- Strong ability to analyze and solve complex problems using analytical and creative problem solving skills for design, creation, testing and troubleshooting associated with the support of various communication platforms.
- Demonstrated job-related experience with and/or commitment to diversity in a work/academic environment
- A valid driver's license and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety requirements
- In depth knowledge and experience supporting critical systems in a 24x7 healthcare environment.
- Knowledge and experience with any of the following Cisco communication, contact Center, conferencing and collaboration products: Including but not limited to Contact Center Express(UCCX), Unified Intelligence Center (CUIC), Finesse, Unified Communication Manger, Unity Connection, Expressway, IVR scripting, Collaboration Meeting Rooms (CMR), Unified Computing System (UCS).
- Knowledge or experience with any of the following technologies: call recording, jtapi, mobile communications, database administration, advanced reporting, voice analytics
- Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical staff on system implementation projects, including development of system and process documentation.
- Substantial experience building, implementing and the ongoing support of UC applications in a Cisco UCCX contact center environment, including but not limited to Communication Manager integration, Finesse desktop/CTI, basic IVR scripting, high availability clustering, extension mobility, Web Chat, courtesy callback, remote agent, built-in-bridge, end user provisioning, training reporting.
