Senior Imaging Technologist/ Imaging Technologist- MRI (2nd Shift) ($5,000 Sign-on Incentive) - For Hires New to UI

Experience Requirements

• Senior Imaging Technologist: A Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or other Allied Health Sciences discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Senior Imaging Technologist: Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Imaging Technologist: Requires Successful completion of two-year or other approved program by Joint Review Committee in Radiologic Technology Education is required.

 Certification Requirements (Senior Imaging Technologist and Imaging Technologist)

• Current certification or eligibility for certification in diagnostic procedures by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) certificate is required.

Desirable Qualifications for Senior Imaging Technologist

• Recent work or clinical education experience in MRI.
• MRI modality training.
• MRI certification or eligible.
• Work or clinical education experience in a Level 1 trauma center.

Desirable Qualifications for Imaging Technologist

• Previous work or clinical education experience in general radiology in a level 1 Trauma center is desired.
• Recent work or clinical education experience in general radiography is desired.

The Imaging Technologist classification salary is 4, and the Senior Imaging Technologist classification salary is 5. You must indicate in your cover letter the level of classification (Imaging Technologist and/or Senior Imaging Technologist) you wish to be considered for or indicate both.
