Senior Systems Administrator– Active Directory – Remote Eligible w/in Iowa
Position Qualifications:
Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
Experience Requirements
- 5 years of Microsoft server experience in IT systems infrastructure development.
- Experience in Active Directory, internal and 3rd Party certificate management, and single sign-on\SAML.
- Accuracy and attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively document procedures and instructions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and strong interpersonal skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Hands on experience with network load-balancers and configuration of resources that utilize this technology.
- Proficient in programming with a scripting language such as PowerShell.
- Microsoft SCOM experience for monitoring of servers.
- Multi-Factor authentication (MFA) solutions such as Duo, RSA, and Okta.
- DNS and DHCP experience in design and support of each technology.
- Managing of servers in a Microsoft failover cluster configuration.
- Understanding of networking technologies and use of network capture troubleshooting tools.
- Familiar with server hardening methodologies and practical implementation experience.
- Knowledge of Hybrid, Cloud, and Multi-cloud strategies and governance for such vendors as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
