Qualifications:

Education or Equivalency Required
A bachelor’s degree in business, administration, finance, accounting, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Required Qualifications

              ·         Demonstrate enhanced knowledge and experience within research administration, or equivalent.   Examples of relevant research administration experience include but are not limited to: budget development, providing accounting services, proposal preparation and review, and interpreting federal regulations or other sponsor guidelines.

·         Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) or database applications.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Ability to set priorities and adjust strategies to changing needs.

              ·          Demonstrate the ability to provide excellent customer service.

·         Thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Is able to handle a large workload.

·         Ability to work within a team and alone or with limited guidance, as appropriate.

Desirable Qualifications

·         Experience handling a large volume and variety of work in a high deadline environment.

·         Higher Education or non-profit administrative experience.
