Required Education:

  • Master’s degree (MS or MPH) biostatistics or mathematics.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of statistical or biostatistics experience.
  • Experience with Python, R, SPSS and/or SAS software.
  • Experience with generating charts/graphs/tables for presentations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task and organize priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Highly Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working with large databases/datasets.
  • Experience with statistical methods used for sample size estimation/power analysis, predictive modeling, factor analysis, principal components analysis, mediation analysis, regression, reliability, survival analysis, and matching (propensity score, inverse probability weighting).

This position is eligible for a combination of on-campus and remote work. Remote work must be performed at a location within the state of Iowa and comply with the remote work program and related policies.
