Study Coordinator & Lab Manager - Physical Activity & Women’s Health Lab
Education Required
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field (e.g., health and human physiology, exercise science, public health, nursing, etc.).
Required Qualifications
- Experience and comfort working with young children (age 2).
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Demonstrated experience with word processing and spreadsheet programs and the ability to learn new skills quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy, strong organizational skills, and accurate record keeping.
- Flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends to accommodate participant schedules.
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum one year experience in a research or clinical setting.
- Interest in life-style related research.
- Familiarity with REDCap and Epic.
- Knowledge of IRB documentation and processes.
- Experience with pediatric and adult anthropometric and blood pressure measurements.
- Knowledge of methods to assess arterial stiffness (pulse wave velocity).
- Research experience with physical activity assessment and/or child health.
