Education Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field (e.g., health and human physiology, exercise science, public health, nursing, etc.).

Required Qualifications

  • Experience and comfort working with young children (age 2).
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Demonstrated experience with word processing and spreadsheet programs and the ability to learn new skills quickly.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy, strong organizational skills, and accurate record keeping.
  • Flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends to accommodate participant schedules.

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum one year experience in a research or clinical setting.
  • Interest in life-style related research.
  • Familiarity with REDCap and Epic.
  • Knowledge of IRB documentation and processes.
  • Experience with pediatric and adult anthropometric and blood pressure measurements.
  • Knowledge of methods to assess arterial stiffness (pulse wave velocity).
  • Research experience with physical activity assessment and/or child health.
