Support Services Specialist
Required Qualifications
- Must have Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have minimum of 6 months-1 year of administrative support experience.
- Must have ability to anticipate needs, problems and potential issues and use judgement, foresight, and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot, recommend and implement solutions.
- Must demonstrate careful attention to detail and accuracy, strong organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks quickly and effectively, proactively establish priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill required.
- Proficient in computer software applications (Microsoft Office Programs) required.
Desirable Qualifications
- Physician scheduling experience or experience in an academic clinical department, preferably primary care is desired.
- Previous experience working with ProTrav, APR, and Qualtrics is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Epic Cadence and/or Epic template management is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of University of Iowa policies and procedures is desired.

This position is eligible for hybrid work within Iowa and will require a work arrangement form to be completed upon the start of your employment. Per policy, work arrangements will be reviewed annually and must comply with the remote work program and related policies and employee travel policy when working at a remote location.
