Systems Administrator – Citrix Systems Support
Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
Experience Requirements
- Typically 3-5 years of experience in IT systems infrastructure development, including at least one year of Microsoft Windows server experience in IT systems infrastructure development and at least 1 year of experience in a position focused on Citrix related technologies.
- Strong understanding of the principles of customer service.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to new and changing situations.
- Accuracy and attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively document procedures and instructions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and strong interpersonal skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a Health Care IT Environment, methodologies to harden servers and remediation of security vulnerabilities.
- Experience working with any of the following: Citrix Provisioning Server (PVS), Citrix NetScaler (ADC), Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops on premises, Citrix Cloud or Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Experience working with hypervisor technologies including Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware as well as managing Dell Hardware using OpenManage to monitor and install bios, firmware, and drivers.
- Proficient in programming with a scripting language such as PowerShell.
- Understanding of networking technologies and the use of troubleshooting tools like Sysinternals Suite and Wireshark.
