Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (paid or unpaid).
  • Experience (typically 6 months to one year) with related program development and evaluation. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to co-creating an equitable and inclusive environment, in collaboration with and accountability to members of racially and/or other marginalized communities
  • Working knowledge of  bystander intervention, healthy relationships, or critical analysis of cultural and structural factors which underpin GSV
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with volunteers and/or student employees
  • Extensive demonstrated ability to communicate ideas to others, and to receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information and needs from others through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Proficiency in use of online platforms (Zoom, Skype, etc.), social media content development and dissemination, audio/video recording and/or editing, etc., as well as MS Office suite applications
  • Working knowledge of and ability to utilize various methods to deliver learning solutions for desired training outcomes as a trainer and/or teacher for college populations
  • Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

 

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Higher Education/Student Development Gender/Women’s Studies or other related field
  • Professional work experience (typically 1-3 years) in gender and sexual violence services and/or prevention, and/or gender equity 
  • Coursework, formal training, and/or experience in men’s gender identity development.
  • Coursework, formal training, and/or experience in serving racially and/or other marginalized populations in a responsive, empowering framework
  • Formal training and/or certification as a Sexual Assault or Domestic Violence Advocate
  • Experience teaching, training and/or advising college age men in fraternities and/or other student organizations, and/or student-athletes
  • Linguistic and/or cultural fluency in more than one culture
