Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in English, journalism, marketing, communications, advertising, web design, a closely related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications:
• At least five years’ experience planning and managing website content and leading or contributing to web content strategy.
• Ability to work within cross-functional team of marketers, communicators, designers and developers.
• Experience using tools like Google Analytics and Siteimprove to analyze web sites, communicate findings to stakeholders, and implement improvements.
• Experience consulting with partners on web content projects, providing guidance and/or direct support.
• Ability to attend and participate in daily coordination meetings, weekly team meetings, and other meetings as needs dictate.
• A commitment to working transparently and collaboratively.
Desirable Qualifications:
• Experience working in higher education.
• Experience working with additional content analysis tools (ex. ScreamingFrog, SEOMoz, SiteImprove, etc.).
• Experience working with Drupal and other web content management systems.
• Experience developing and leading user testing and user research investments (A/B testing, surveys, focus groups, etc.).
• Experience leading webinars or training sessions on the topic of web content strategy.
• Ability to use HTML to make front-end edits to web content.
• Ability to produce high-quality work under a deadline, while remaining positive amid constructive feedback.
• Experience working within established brand standards.
