Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as health communications, health promotion, public health, nursing, nutrition or dietetics or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Typical relevant experience 1-3 years.
  • Certification as a Health and Wellness Coach through a training program approved by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (or enrolled in a certification program at time of job application).
  • Worksite health/well-being program experience. Typical experience is 1 -3 years.
  • 1-3 years of experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Experience in various digital/online applications to engage users and communicate with them.
  • Experience working with diverse work groups.
  • Must be able to move display equipment and program materials weighing up to 20 lbs across campus for various event needs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work flexible hours, which may include evenings, as needed for the 24/7 workforce.

 

Desirable Qualifications

  • National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) or willingness to obtain within one year of employment.
  • Three or more years of well-being program experience is highly desired.
  • Experience developing and/or monitoring project or program budget(s).
  • Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) or other wellness credentials, degrees, certifications.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Dietitian (RD) would be highly desirable in this role.
