Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) is required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience as a NCAA DI Golf Coach and/or combination of Professional Golf Experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, as demonstrated through public speaking engagements, clinician experience, and/or use of effective and creative training/coaching techniques.
- Proven experience organizing and operating junior golf camps or clinics.
- Working knowledge of and ability to:
- Utilize basic office support software (word processing, email, presentation software and spreadsheets)
- Operate effectively within a highly regulated team environment.
- Professional experience working effectively with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trusting relationships;
- A valid U.S. driving license and the ability to meet The University of Iowa Fleet Safety Program driving standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- NCAA Division I playing AND coaching experience highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in domestic talent assessment and ability to recruit elite level student-athletes.
- Competitive professional golf experience is highly preferred.
- Genuine passion for and experience with supporting the holistic development of student-athletes, recognizing the interconnectedness of mental health and overall well-being;
- Proficiency in setup, maintenance, and analyzing data with Trackman radar (indoor and outdoor) and Puttview technology.
- Proven experience working with supporter groups including donors and alumni.
