Education Required:

A bachelor’s degree in technical theatre or fine arts discipline, or equivalent combination of related education and experience is required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates ability to clearly communicate and work effectively with diverse individuals in a diverse environment in a constructive and collaborative manner.
  • Demonstrated experience in mixing live musical theatre productions.
  • Working knowledge of scores.
  • Experience with Dante Controller.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with both professional digital and analog sound consoles.
  • Experience with music performance and recording software (i.e. ProTools, Logic, Adobe Audition, Mainstage, or Ableton).
  • Experience collaborating with musicians, conductors and/or music directors in a live event capacity.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience with digital media in non-traditional platforms.
  • Experience with variety of microphones for live reinforcement and studio recording.
  • Experience working with students in a performing arts capacity, providing a training ground and opportunities for experiential learning.
